Unlike Flags of Our Fathers, im giving real brief summaries, but they are still summaries of what i read :)
In chapter 20, they go back through the tunnel towards the castle and Sirius Black invites Harry to live with him. Lupin becomes a werewolf when the moon comes out and Black transforms to a dog to prevent him from attacking HRH. Pettigrew becomes a rat and escapes, Sirius Black goes after him and is confronted by Dementors, Harry and Hermione run for help but are caught by Dementors as well.

In chapter 21, Harry awakens in hospital and desperately tries to tell Sirius Black's side of the story but is not believed. Dumbledore arrives and tells Hermione to use her Time-Turner to go back and change events to save Buckbeak and Black. First they rescue Buckbeak, then Harry rescues himself from the Dementors with a Patronus Charm and then ride Buckbeak to rescue Black, who escapes on the hippogriff. Poor Harry, no one believes him. i know what it feels like when you know the truth but no one understands or believes.

In chapter 22, Harry and Hermione safely return to the hospital wing where Snape arrives to blame them for Sirius Black's escape but cannot prove it. I hate snape...hes such a creep haha. Lupin resigns, returning the invisibility cloak and Marauder's Map to Harry. Term ends, HRH return home on the Hogwarts Express, Harry gets owl post from Black, and Ron gets a new owl.

In chapter 17, A big black dog drags Ron into a tunnel under the Whomping Willow. Crookshanks is running around and apparently stops the tree from attacking Harry and Hermione. They follow the cat down the tunnel to emerge in the Shrieking Shack outside Hogsmeade. They find Ron with Sirius Black. Ron is being held captive! Black disarms them and Harry attacks Black, and with Ron and Hermione overpowers him. Lupin arrives and admits that he's Black's friend and a werewolf. Whoa...i didn't know lupin was a friend of Black...this changes a lot...

In chapter 18, In which Lupin tells the story of his becoming a werewolf and of his school days with James Potter, Sirius Black, and Severus Snape, the last of whom now appears.

In chapter 19,  Snape threatens Lupin and Black with the Dementors, HRH disarm Snape with a spell...oh crap. Lupin and Black tell the truth about Harry's parents' deaths WHICH IS A BIG SHOCKER TO ME! Ok...apparently Scabbers is Peter Pettigrew? the truth comes out about all the players in the drama, revealing that Pettigrew was responsible for the Potters' deaths, and Harry keeps Lupin and Black from killing Pettigrew. Im confused again haha. Good book though, lots of details.

In chapter 12, both Harry and Ron are angry with Hermione for reporting the Firebolt to McGonagall. Later, Lupin teaches Harry the Patronus Charm to use against Dementors. Harry gets his broom back back and makes up with Hermione just as Ron finds blood on the floor that leads to Scabbers. Dumb cat killed Scabbers! i would kill that cat haha.

In chapter 13, Quidditch practice resumes and Gryffindor plays Ravenclaw and wins despite Slytherin's attempts to sabotage the match by dressing as dementors to scare Harry. Gryffindor celebrates into the night while Hermione studies. Black gets into the dorm and slashes Ron's bed curtains.

In chapter 14, In which security is tightened, Hagrid is summoned to London with Buckbeak, Ron and Harry plan another visit to Hogsmeade despite Hermione's appeals. Harry wears his invisibility cloak and while playing a trick on Malfoy and his goons is unmasked, rushing back to school only to be confronted by Snape

In chapter 15, In which Hagrid loses his case and Buckbeak is sentenced to death. The Gryffindor-Slytherin match has arrived. When it comes, it is the roughest match Harry has ever played, but Gryffindor still wins.

In chapter 16, In which OWLs and NEWTs are coming up and everyone is studying, exam week arrives, Buckbeak's appeal is scheduled, Professor Trelawney unknowingly predicts the return of the Dark Lord, HRH use the invisibility cloak to visit Hagrid, try to comfort him, Hermione finds Scabbers in a milk jug, men come to execute Buckbeak, HRH go out the back door under the cloak and Scabbers goes berserk. so is the rat dead or not? this is soo confusing

Stupid Baggots!

So basically in chapter 7, Draco Malfoy takes advantage of his injury in Potions class and says he cannot cut the ingredients. So Snape orders Ron and Harry to do his work for him. And just when the day couldn't get any worse, Seamus Finnigan tells Harry that Sirius Black has been sighted near Hagwarts. In Defense Against the Dark Arts with Professor Lupin, they find a Boggart, which is a shape shifting creature that turns into your worst fear. They practice their resistance against it, but Harry and Hermione never confronted it...If i confronted my worst fear, i would surely lose! lol.

In chapter 8, Defence Against the Dark Arts remains a favorite to Harry and the others. It sounds really cool! fighting off little monsters with spells would be a awesome class. Quidditch practice begins...fun! Crookshanks, Hermione's cat goes after Scabbers, Rons rat, once again lol. Lupin wants Harry to talk to him about fear  and explained that he wouldn't let the baggot to look at him because it might have turned into Voldemort. During dinner, someone reports that the "Fat Lady" from the painting has fled because of Sirius Black! Is he really in Hogwarts?? what i wanna know is how he got passed the dementors!!

In chapter 9, Snape is subbing for Defense Against Dark Arts because Lupin is very sick :(. Later, the first Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff  begins in a thunderstorm.  Harry sees the Grim and Dementors on the pitch and passes out to awaken in hospital having lost the game. Harry is chasing after the snitch and suddenly sees the black dog again and about a 100 dementors! He hears a conversation and screaming inside his head about a woman pleading with a man not to kill Harry, but her instead. He fainted again.....

chapter 10 was LONG!!!! im going to do a brief summary of it...Harry spends the weekend in hospital and Lupin returns to class and tells him about dementors, and Fred and George give Harry the Marauder's Map. Harry uses a secret passage to join Ron and Hermione in Hogsmeade and learn that Sirius Black is believed to have betrayed Harry's parents and is his godfather.

chapter 11 is really short! lol. Harry mulls over what he heard about Black, almost everyone has gone on holiday, HRH go to visit Hagrid, find him distraught about Buckbeak's hearing before the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures, and HRH begin seeking precedents to help Buckbeak's case. Christmas comes and Harry gets a Firebolt broom from an unknown (Black) benefactor, Crookshanks goes after Scabbers again and revives bad feelings between Ron and Hermione, dinner is taken with the teachers, and McGonagall confiscates the Firebolt to check for jinxes.

Harry Potter

Well i have to read around 400 pages in about 4-5 days....oh god lol. So i will be reading about 100 pages a night, so if you are reading my blogs and it seems like im not explaining each chapter well, its because there are a lot of chapters and im reading a lot.

The first chapter recalls Harry's previous adventures. Harry is now back at the Dursley's house for the summer and they don't let him do anything! He had not seen any of his friends all some and is miserable. When school starts he has to write a few essays. Three owls come in his window one night and brings him gifts from his friends for his birthday.

One morning, as they Dursley's and Harry were watching the news, they hear a report about an escaped convict, Siriuso Black, who is armed and extremely dangerous. Aunt Marge visits and she hates Harry. She always thinks hes a trouble maker and always teases and yells at him. He tries to be nice but eventually snaps, casting a spell on her that makes her swell up like a balloon. He runs away and heads towards Hogsmeade.

 As Harry wanders the streets he realizes that he has broken the Decree for the Restriction of Underage Wizardry, and is sure he will be expelled. As he walks he sees big glowing eyes staring at him in an ally and before he has time to react, the Knight Bus, a bus that picks up stray wizards, comes and he gets on. His destination is London and as the bus depart, he learns about Sirius Black from the newspaper. He also meets Cornelius Fudge at Diagon Alley and was offered a room at the Leaky Cauldron.

Harry goes shopping for school supplies. And as he walks around town he notices a new broom for Quidditch, the firebolt. Later he meets Ron and Hermione who share what the have bought. Ron buys school stuff and takes his pet rat Scabbers to get a check up. Hermione gets school supplies and buys a cat. Harry overhears Mr. Weasley and a few other men discussing how Sirius Black is after Harry.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione board a train and head to Hogwarts. On the way there, a dementor, an akaban guard, gets on the train and Harry passes out because he apparently heard screams. With the arrival at Hogwarts, McGonagall wants a word with Harry and Hermione and we learn that Hagrid is the new Care of Magical Creatures teacher. Professor Trelawney predicts Harry's death because he has the has the Grim, the giant, spectral dog that haunts churchyards; an omen of death. If you see one, you will die soon after.


I too have an annoying aunt, but she is never mean to me. She is just real arrogant and expects me to wait on her.....I feel bad for Harry because he seeing all these things that are telling him hes gonna die. poor kid
